Our story
Building on two decades of innovation in humanoid robotics, Maxtronics was established in France on August 28, 2025, to pursue thetechnological adventure of NAO, including product development, sales and customer support, and to shape its new generation NAO7.
In July 2025, Maxvision Technology Corporation acquired the core assets of the Aldebaran, formerly SoftBank Robotics Europe, thehumanoid robotics pioneer founded in Paris in 2005.
Throughout the years, Aldebaran developed a unique know-how and created NAO, the first humanoid robots industrialized at scale with +20 000 units deployed worldwide, Pepper (+ 17 000), Plato (+3 000) etRomeo.
NAO has become a global reference platform contributing to more than 3600 scientific publications and countless academicprojects worldwide.
Today, Maxtronics carries this heritage forward with renewed ambition, opening a new chapter for the next/new generation of humanoid robotics.
